In an urgent response – General Intelligence adopts the case of the elderly woman, Halima, from Salfit

After her story was published through social media sites and local media, implementing  of the humanitarian message, which is always confirmed by President Mahmoud Abbas, and enhancing the social role of the General Intelligence Service, which believes that it is the right of every citizen to live a noble life that respects his humanity, The Minister, Major-General Majid Faraj, head of the General Intelligence Service, issued instructions to meet all the needs of the elderly woman, Halima, from Masha village, near Salfit. Whereas the Directorate of General Intelligence in Salfit Governorate started to take all actions to provide the needs that would guarantee a noble life for the elderly woman, Halima.

The General Intelligence considers the social media and the local media in genera as an important means to convey the humanitarian message. A photo for the 62-year-old citizen, Asaad Amer, was published through the social media site, Facebook, as he was putting his elderly mother, Halima (94 years) in a shopping cart, and was roaming the streets in the village in order that she could refresh herself.
