Three Hundred Pilgrims from the Families of Martyrs and Prisoners of the PGI Leave to Perform Minor Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia

Under the auspices of the head of the General Intelligence Service, minister, Maj. Gen. Majid Faraj, a convoy of pilgrims, from families of martyrs and prisoners of the General Intelligence Service, left Palestine on Tuesday morning, through the Karama crossing , to perform Umrah (minor pilgrimage) in Saudi Arabia.

The convoy consisted of 300 pilgrims, from the families of martyrs and prisoners in the General Intelligence Service. This gesture was issued by the General Intelligence Service, which was announced by Maj. Gen. Majid Faraj, head of the General Intelligence Service last March. The announcement came when the PGI organized an event on the occasion of Women’s Day, whereas Maj. Gen. Majid Faraj said that the PGI  will organize the pilgrimage at the expense of the service during Ramadan, as a gesture to PGI’S loyalty to its sons of prisoners and martyrs.

The pilgrims convoy was accompanied by a delegation from the General Intelligence Service, headed by Brigadier General Azzam ZakaRana, representing Major Majid Faraj, accompanied by a number of departmental directors, departments, and a representative of the governor of Jericho.

Brigadier Zakarneh said in his speech to the pilgrims that the loyalty to the families of martyrs and prisoners is the message of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, which he has always emphasized, that martyrs and prisoners are our top priority. He conveyed the greetings of the Minister Maj. Gen. Majid Faraj and said: “This is a message of loyalty that we are conveying to you as families of martyrs and prisoners. We say that we will remain faithful to the sacrifices of your sons and will always be with you.
